How do I scale an FX5U 0–10 V input to 0–10 bar?
For a raw range of 0–4000 and an engineering range of 0–10.0 bar, multiply the raw value by 100 and divide by 4000. The result then represents bar × 10.
Practical explanation
Using an integer scaled by ten preserves one decimal place without floating-point instructions.
At raw 2000, the result is 50, which should be displayed as 5.0 bar.
Check in this order
- 1Verify that the channel is configured for the expected voltage range.
- 2Monitor the raw value at zero and full-scale input.
- 3Reserve consecutive work registers used by double-word math.

Devices and registers
SD6020: verify built-in CH1 assignment for the installed CPU/manual revision
D100: raw copy
D104-D105: double-word multiplication result
D110: pressure × 10
Safety: Do not use a software-scaled value as the only overpressure protection.
