How many built-in analog channels does an FX5U have?

The FX5U CPU has two built-in 0–10 V analog inputs and one built-in 0–10 V analog output. FX5UC CPUs do not include this built-in analog function.

Practical explanation

The two voltage inputs are useful for simple pressure, level and position signals.

A 4–20 mA input can be used with the external resistor arrangement specified by Mitsubishi, but an analog module is often clearer for larger systems.
